About Kelly

I am what I eat.  Walking into a grocery store, down the farmers’ market rows and in my and my friends’ gardens is like walking into a museum for me.  I want each piece of food to have a tag detailing its contents, history, purpose.   I want to know where it came from and how it will make me, me.  This goes for broccoli, cheese dip, Doritos and apples.  My work is in food.

  1. I am enjoying what you’re writing. In Corvallis we have farmers market (link below) nearly all year long. I really like to get down there when I can. The produce is phenomenal and I love the fresh flowers. But the atmosphere… out of this world (nice). Keep up the good work!

    • Thanks Dava! I do miss the Corvallis Farmers Market and love that they have it right on the river. You guys have a secret down there that if word were to get out, your population would double! I am glad that my parents will be living there soon–I think that they are coming in April again to look at homes with you.

  2. Kelly,
You came up on my google alerts and I can’t find anywhere in your blog about any comment your may have wrote about SG.

    • Hi Lexie, You can find the post that I wrote about you here. Let me know if there is anything that I should add! And, thanks for making a great product! Now, only if we could get a list of the retailers who sell Shepherds Grain flour.

  3. Hey Kelly!! I didn’t know you had a food blog. This is great. 🙂

  4. Your blog is inspiring. I am happy to find that you are expecting! Congratulations! I wish all the best for you and your new edition (addition?). So lucky is this baby to have a momma like you!
